About ClaviaTour
After living and teaching in the DFW metroplex for nearly a decade, I have decided to expand my private teaching activities. In the process of considering several names for my brand, ClaviaTour Piano Studio became more and more appealing, as it reflects on the continuous nature of the parent-student-teacher collaboration. The name ClaviaTour can be traced back to the word claviature (the keyboard of a piano or organ, from Latin 'clavis'). Spelling it differently puts a spin on the word's meaning, emphasizing on the journey aspect of taking music lessons. In practice, while we are focusing on the long-term development and success, I want students to enjoy their way leading up to their aspiration. My goal is to provide them with support and guidance, encouraging them on their musical journey to excellence.
“Dr. Imre is not only an outstanding piano teacher but also respects his students and their parents. He cares about our needs and wishes for our kids’ piano education and experience.”
Information in the 21st century seems to be at our fingertips, just one click away. While we are used to getting immediate results with the help of the latest technology, we also need to remember that comprehensive knowledge and in-depth understanding comes only with the investment of time and persistent work. Luckily, in the case of music lessons, with thoughtful selection of methods you can enjoy every step of your journey. At the same time, your hard work will not only enable you to perform increasingly exhilarating repertoire, but will also help you develop endurance and self-discipline. These skills then give back to the success of your studies, thus creating a positive cycle.
“Dr. Imre is very patient and caring to his students. My daughter has progressed a lot and most importantly she falls in more love with piano."
The philosophy of ClaviaTour Piano Studio is to keep students motivated and interested while instilling diligence in their journey of learning, which will in turn give them a sense of accomplishment. Students will be encouraged to participate in festivals and other activities to give them the opportunity to show their accomplishments. Our end of the semester recitals provide the opportunity for them to share their talent and to taste the joy of performing in front of their family and friends. Students are encouraged to bring and ask for their favorite songs as an addition to the curriculum. They are guided through their journey with care and professional instruction, with a healthy balance between fun and the challenge of learning repertoire given by the instructor. Every journey begins with a single step and consists of a sequence of individual steps. Along the way, students will discover repertoire that was once beyond their reach and abilities that they never believed would be mastered. It is quite an expedition! A journey to excellence.
